We look for the following criteria:

• The producer must be Canadian. The scope of this criterion can pertain to a commercial production company or an independent producer.
• At least 50% of the podcast hosts or performers must be Canadian or a permanent resident of Canada.
• In cases where podcasts are produced by a team, it must be demonstrated that the majority of the team members (more than 50%) are Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada.
