Why was my podcast sent back for review? Do I have to resubmit it to the directory every year?

Last modified: October, 27 2026

You don’t need to resubmit your show to the directory, and you shouldn’t submit it again. Once it’s approved it stays in the directory. Nominating your show for the awards is separate, and you do that each year when nominations open.

A show goes back into the review queue when we detect a change to its core details in your RSS feed: the show title, the feed URL, your podcast host, the owner name or email, or the podcast GUID. Switching hosts, rebranding or changing the owner email are the usual causes. We check feeds regularly, so this can happen without you doing anything on our site.

Review is a quick manual check to make sure the entry is still correct. While you wait, your show can still be nominated but may not appear in the directory.

If you think your show was sent back by mistake, or you did submit it again, use the Report an issue with this listing link on your show’s page and include your feed URL in the details.
