The Canadian Podcast Awards (CPA) are now open for nominations, marking the eighth annual celebration of excellence in Canadian podcasting. The Awards honour creators who inform, entertain, and inspire listeners across the country through outstanding storytelling, production, and creativity.

Podcasts eligible for consideration must have released at least five episodes between January 1 and December 31, 2024. Spanning more than 30 categories—from comedy and current affairs to arts, sports, and culture—the Canadian Podcast Awards highlight the innovation and diversity that define Canada’s podcasting landscape.

Each year we’re reminded how powerful that combination can be in connecting people and amplifying diverse voices.”

Since their inception in 2018, the Awards have helped showcase the extraordinary talent and creativity of Canadian podcasters while playing a key role in elevating the industry. The peer-voted model ensures that excellence is recognized by fellow creators and industry members who understand the craft and dedication behind every show.

Nominations are open now at canpodawards.ca and will close on November 1, 2025. After nominations close, verified Canadian podcasters will vote to determine the finalists and winners, who will be announced later this fall.

Les Prix canadiens du balado (CPA) sont maintenant ouverts aux candidatures, marquant la huitième édition annuelle de cette célébration de l’excellence du balado canadien. Ces prix rendent hommage aux créateurs et créatrices qui informent, divertissent et inspirent les auditeurs partout au pays grâce à des récits, une production et une créativité exceptionnels.

Les balados admissibles doivent avoir diffusé au moins cinq épisodes entre le 1er janvier et le 31 décembre 2024. Couvrant plus de 30 catégories — de l’humour et de l’actualité aux arts, aux sports et à la culture — les Prix canadiens du balado mettent en valeur l’innovation et la diversité qui caractérisent le paysage du balado au Canada.

Le vote par les pairs garantit que l’excellence est reconnue par les créateurs et les membres de la communauté qui comprennent le savoir-faire et le dévouement derrière chaque émission.

Les candidatures sont ouvertes dès maintenant sur canpodawards.ca et se termineront le 1er novembre 2025. Après la clôture des candidatures, les baladodiffuseurs canadiens vérifiés voteront pour déterminer les finalistes et les lauréats, dont les noms seront annoncés plus tard à l’automne.
